NWBA Members and Friends,

Join the Northwest Business Association for our August Networking Business Luncheon, set to unfold with critical insights on the Bond 2024 Project and Sales Tax Reauthorization. This event will be held at the Best Western NW in Calallen, featuring Jeff Edmonds, Director of Engineering Services, and Elsy Borgstedte, Assistant Director of the Office of Economic Development, both esteemed leaders from the City of Corpus Christi.

About Our Speakers:


Jeff Edmonds brings a decade of experience as Director of Engineering Services for the City of Corpus Christi, managing over $1 billion in construction projects. With a background in civil engineering and a Master's from North Carolina State University, plus an MBA from UNC Charlotte, Jeff has a longstanding commitment to enhancing public infrastructure.


Elsy Borgstedte is the Assistant Director at the City of Corpus Christi's Office of Economic Development, known for her extensive public service career focusing on economic growth and strategic development. Elsy's experience extends from aviation to real estate, significantly impacting the city's economic landscape. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M International University and is pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration at Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi.


This luncheon offers a prime opportunity to network with peers, engage with city leaders, and gain insights into significant civic projects poised to impact our community. Join us to connect, learn, and discuss the future of business and development in Corpus Christi.

The NWBA Luncheon is a monthly luncheon for the members of NWBA or those who want to see what the community of NWBA is like. At these monthly luncheons, we invite prolific speakers such as city council members, local educational leaders, city officials, and other leaders in business. Learn about what it takes to be a successful leader and business owner.

 

For a small fee, you will attend our luncheon that includes a catered lunch, a presentation from the speaker attending, and networking opportunities with local like-minded businesses.
